"Very unique and well executed idea! This bar is located down a winding staircase underground. The decor is top notch and is a shrine to horror films from the last 50 years. A ton of cool props and recreations from well-known films. The drinks are all horror themed and reasonably priced. They offer a few different snacks as well. Worth a stop even if you aren't a fan of these films. Service staff were friendly and helpful."

ABOUT NIGHTMARE PRAGUE HORROR BAR

We are themed bar which is created by horror movie lovers for horror movie lovers, and not only. We serve hundreds of customers from all over the world every week coming here for a unique bar experience. Imagine, being surrounded by handmade spooky decorations, life size horror movie characters, seated in dimmed red light and enjoying the special horror menu which contains our craft horror themed cocktails and shots? Sounds like a good plan for the night? It sure does to us! So, come and make sure of it yourself! But remember, enter at your own risk… once you enter you might never leave! ;)

HOW IT ALL STARTED...

“So it’s decided… we are going to open the bar.”

“Yes, a Horror themed bar like no one seen before!”

“…and we are going to have all our favorite horror movies characters in there!!”

“Yes! But they all have to be like… LIFE SIZE!!”

“What?”

“What??!” :D

Yes, that’s pretty much how it all started. What seemed to be just fun but pretty unrealistic idea in the beginning turned into what you can see now in one of the main streets of Prague’s downtown. The idea which was born one night just from two friends and bandmates chatting and dreaming over a couple of beers. Fast forward the months of hard work and all our passion for horror movie genre put in all the details and handmade decorations, but we can’t be more proud of what Nightmare Horror Bar became now. We want to thank all of our customers and members of our team, without you none of this would be possible! THANK YOU!
